Jersey Marine Conservation are supporting the Mammalogic Normand Group with the survey of Grey Seals in the moulting season around the Écréhous islands.
Data collected will include the survey conditions (date, hours, tide, weather), the number of seals observed (with the precision in the water or on rocks), any comments on the behavior, and any human activity causing disturbance. Photographs will be taken when possible in order to help put together a photo-identification catalog.
