The schools workshop consists of a carousel of activities designed primarily for the the 7 – 10 age group. Its aim is to provide hands-on challenging, fun and informative experiences that link to many aspects of the curriculum. Also giving pupils the opportunity to meet scientists, engineers, expedition members, rangers and animal welfare experts who operate in the marine environments.

Join the scientists and educators of Jersey Marine Conservation who will introduce you to rock pool surveys, underwater photography, thermal drones, Living Wall tiles and BRUVs (What are those you ask).

Each of the 3 slots that can accommodate up to 100 pupils.
We want to fill all the places and would like as many schools to attend as possible.
Please on the form choose a 1 2 & 3 time slot choice if you can.
Before arriving divide your school into groups of 12. Name tags are nice and please have a clear tag for those who cannot be photographed. If you take images please share them with us and add a FaceBook/ Instagram review. Greying out faces and sensitive information is fine and you can see evidence of that in our pictures.

The Robot Vehicle will be outside and under gazebos (if necessary) and it can be cold out there. There are wall pegs in the Rocco corridor for jackets etc and there will be a water fountain to fill drinking bottles.
Toilet are in the corridor linking the corridor to the bar.
There will be disinfectant wipes at locations around the event.
