We have been chosen as one of the Ports of Jersey’s 4 charities for 2022-2024. Currently, we are carrying out surveys of the Biodiversity in the St Helier Town Marina while it is being refurbished. A big thanks to Ports of Jersey & Geomarine.

Butterfield Bank Jersey has kindly agreed to continue the Marine Watch Touch Tank Education programme in 2022. We have just finished the schools ‘T’ Towel competition that Butterfiels sponsored and will be announcing the winners on FaceBook soon. Already we have 5 schools signed up to host the Tank and another 10 waiting for Bioblitz or participation dates. The Marine Mission Event at the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel has been postponed until June with more details to follow soon.

The Seagrass restoration project is moving forward now in conjunction with JICAS and Ports of Jersey. The Jersey Community Fund has provided just under £15,000 for this year’s work and a big chunk of that money came from ATF Fuels– a big thanks for that.

We are also working with Marine Resources, supporting the acoustic Dolphin Monitoring project. Ports of Jersey have provided funds of £1500 to buy 2 pods from Chelonia who gave us a 75% Discount.
