Latest news is that we once again won the Association of Jersey Charities, ‘best runner up’ award for a small charity. A great accolade was that we also won the special 50th Anniversary Award- what a great honour. https://www.jerseycharities.org/winners-2021
It has been a very busy year with thanks to the continuing Butterfield Bank, Jersey sponsorship, Association of Jersey Charities, Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel (Jersey) and new partners Jersey International College of Advances Studies and the Blue Marine Foundation .
This year we launched the Marine Watch Bioblitz, hosting schools and community groups. We continue as members of the Ramasar Management Authority and are now represented on the Jersey Biodiversity Committee. Also we are part of the newly formed Jersey National Park Board of Directors. helping to full-fill the objective to include the shallow intertidal waters within the Park.

In August we supported the Art House in the Town Schools ‘You Me & The Sea project & Exhibition’.
We have also began our campaign to have St Catherine’s seagrass meadows restored and designated as a Ramsar site. In this project we are partnering with the Ports of Jersey. Visit the Ramsar website if you would like to learn more about what this means.
